Exact full credit
A confirmed merchandise-only credit of 90.00 USD produces zero net merchandise. A credit of 90.01 USD exceeds that base and is rejected rather than producing a negative amount. Shipping, tax and other charges remain separate. With confirmed shipping 4.99 USD, tax 1.25 USD and other charges zero, the full-credit total is still 6.24 USD.
Why cents are integers
Amounts are parsed into whole cents before multiplication and comparison. Three units at 0.10 USD total 0.30 USD. Two at 47.99 USD total 95.98 USD, and an exact 95.98 USD credit is valid. More than two decimal places, exponent notation, blank prices and negative inputs do not become silently rounded amounts.
Know the limit
Each editable price or charge is bounded at 1,000,000 USD and each quantity at 1,000,000 whole offers. A blank or invalid charge withholds the full total; it is not assumed zero. Only enter actual confirmed credits and charges. No promotion eligibility, tax jurisdiction or shipping entitlement is invented.
