Define matching stock

A target must name both the exact selection and its count unit. Matching usable complete sets can be counted toward a complete-set target. Loose tops, another size or a different color are not silently added. Pants-only stock may be useful, but it is a different purchase requirement.

Work a concrete example

For five selected Black M complete sets with two matching complete sets already held, the tool calculates three additional offers. Each selected set supplies one complete set. For seven matching pairs of the selected joggers with three already held, four pants-only offers satisfy that separate user-chosen target.

The refusal matters

Selecting complete two-piece sets for the pants-only offer returns unsupported. The calculator does not manufacture a matching top or combine unrelated stock into outfits. Blank, negative, fractional, exponential and excessive counts remain invalid. A target below stock held requires zero additional offers and never produces a negative order.

Use a target you actually chose

The result is inventory arithmetic, not a recommended wardrobe size, laundry interval or forecast of garment life. Current selected stock is a public observation, not a reservation. Recheck the actual variant and purchase quantity at checkout; an arithmetic result cannot ensure availability.
